I have a background in technology (user experience design, technical project management, and front end web development). About two and a half years ago I got interested in data visualization and started developing a custom solution. Its value as a trading and financial analysis tool was immediate and obvious. This site chronicles my journey as a retail investor and as a conscious citizen. Market solutions are not the only answer, but they are the most effective tool for many stubborn problems.
I am an advocate of both socially responsible investing and brand-based investing. This is to say that my personal experiences as a consumer are a relevant metric, in addition to technical analysis and news from professional financial reporters.
To date, I have had strong and favorable results from my trading strategy. With that said, 2022 is terra incognita. I will keep my readers posted and release the Lotus Trader reporting to a general audience when its value has been tested and proven.
